Allegiant to add 3 new routes to Myrtle Beach Airport in June

Allegiant airlines has announced new nonstop flights from Syracuse to Orlando beginning this spring.

"We're very excited to grow again in lovely Myrtle Beach", said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial.

One-way fares on the new route will be as low as $52.

These new routes have been scheduled to operate twice a week.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina via Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) - begins June 6, 2018 with fares as low as $58. With this addition of service to the Nashville International Airport (BNA), Allegiant now has nonstop service to forty-one cities from the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD).

The flights connecting Florida to the central NY region will initially operate two days per week on Wednesday and Saturday, according a press release which did not give introductoryprices.

"We are delighted to welcome Allegiant Air, an increasingly popular, ultra-low cost carrier, to the Nashville community", said Doug Kreulen, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority president and CEO. "Growing air service will help us welcome more visitors to the Grand Strand, as we strive to reach our goal of 20 million annual visitors by 2020".

Airport officials said this brings to a total of 12 nonstop destinations offered at Eugene Airport, the most nonstop routes the airport has ever had.
