Skyrim VR Available For Pre-Order Now

After spending several months as a PlayStation VR exclusive, Skyrim VR is finally heading to the PC and better yet, it will support all headsets, including the VIVE, the Rift and Windows 10 Mixed Reality HMDs.

That Skyrim VR even came to PSVR in the first place pretty much told everyone it'll come to at least the Vive, and probably not the Rift considering the company's stance on the headset. The release is planned for April 3, and the VR version will include all the official add-ons for the game, namely Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.

Bethesda announced a VR version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at E3 2017, which arrived as an exclusive for the PlayStation 4's PSVR headset, late a year ago. Skyrim VR seemed like the ideal candidate for an eventual Steam release, but up until today, Bethesda has kept quiet on such a port.

Skyrim VR should be no different for gamers who already know the original version like the back of their hand. If you wish to pre-purchase it right now, you can pay $60 and have it ready to play on launch day!

When the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim launched on the Nintendo Switch past year you probably thought that was it. From battling ancient dragons to exploring rugged mountains and more, Skyrim VR brings to life a complete open world for you to experience any way you choose. And, with the Steam VR edition, you don't have to use the clunky PlayStation Move controllers, which is an absolute treat. And you might want to seriously invest in one of those VR harnesses for this one.
