Which Colorado counties are the healthiest?

Following St. Johns County, the next healthiest counties are Collier County, Martin County, Seminole County, and Miami-Dade County.

The 2018 County Health Rankings released Wednesday ranks Kenosha County 59 for overall health outcomes and 66 for health factors out of Wisconsin's 72 counties.

New health data released today reinforces an all too familiar narrative of the counties in Mississippi: Those in the Delta struggle, while the affluent communities remain on top. It was trailed only by Menominee County, which came in last for both categories. There were 242 counties ranked in Texas. This is four spots down from where Muskingum landed on the list previous year. Montgomery County was ranked 88th, and Page County was ranked 74th. Hamilton County is the healthist for the ninth year in a row.

The percentage of adults age 20 and over reporting no leisure-time physical activity for Beaufort County was 16 percent, compared to the state's 25 percent.

The county was well above the state average in high school graduate rate at 94 percent against the 81 percent state average.

It also reports that Leon County ranks 8th out of Florida's 67 counties in terms of "severe housing problems".

Health rankings were determined by "how long people live and how healthy people feel", according to the report.

She added that the Delta Health Alliance is working to curb low birth weights and teen pregnancy with funding from state and federal grants. This year's analyses show that lack of opportunity, such as education jobs, and affordable housing, disproportionately affects people of color across the nation and within Nevada.

The new rankings also call attention to key drivers of health such as children in poverty along with the increased chance of poor health associated with poverty.

One takeaway is that Texas counties populated by large African-American and Latino people are generally among the counties with the poorest health. Children who live in poverty is at 22 percent. According to the 2018 report, Denton County ranks sixth in health factors - made up of healthy behaviors, clinical care, social and economic factors, and physical environment.
