Free Xbox One Games With Gold For April 2018 Announced

Microsoft has confirmed the Games With Gold lineup for the month of April 2018.

Just as Sony is detailing the free PlayStation Plus game for April today, Microsoft is doing the same for the free titles that will be offered through Xbox Live's Games with Gold.

The first one is Jonathan Blow's The Witness, which is coming to Xbox One on April 1st and will be available until April 3rd.

The Witness will be available between April 1 and April 30, Assassins Creed Syndicate will be available between April 16 and May 15, Cars 2 is up from April 1 to 15, while Dead Space 2 is ready to download between April 16 and April 30. Syndicate came out after the buggy and maligned Assassin's Creed: Unity, and it paid the price with lackluster sales. Read on for the full details and to make sure you don't miss out!

During the first half of April, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Cars 2: The Video Game. This is probably the weakest game of all four, as it's hard to imagine many Xbox One or 360 owners getting excited about a movie tie-in.

Dead Space 2 sees Isaac Clarke's highly anticipated return to battle the horrific Necromorphs.

A game that isn't ideal for children is Dead Space 2, another Xbox 360 backwards compatible title which will be freely available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers from April 16 to April 30. You never know when you might need it.
