"It is our heartiest wish that they stay with us", said Shah. "He is the first leader I've seen who would do this". Addressing through video conferencing, Mr Modi said, the BJP is a party which is completely driven by democratic rules. He said, there is no dynasty and casteism in the party.

Danve said arrangements have been made to bring the party workers to Mumbai in trains, buses and jeeps. "Those [NCP] who looted the state exchequer through irrigation scam are today on the streets with the "Halla Bol" campaign.these political unemployed are now coming together against us like a pack of wolves", said Fadnavis.

Ananth Kumar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister, said, "BJP works for connecting people, Congress works for dividing people". BJP has lost most number of workers in this country. Attempts are being made for opposition unity.

"People have taken us to this level and now we have to live for them", he said.

Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Friday slammed the opposition's plan of forming a new front fight against BJP in next Lok Sabha elections in 2019. He was accompanied by Union Minister Jual Oram, BJP Legislative Party leader Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo, BJP state unit chief Basant Panda and some senior leaders during their lunch at the house of Maheswar Suna.

However, within a couple of hours after his party workers' rally, Shah clarified his likening the Opposition parties to snakes, mongooses, cats and dogs and said, "If I had given the example of snakes and mongooses, it was because they are rivals of one another". It is the strength of the BJP that is affecting our opponents.

A total of 50,000 vehicles, including cars, trucks and private buses, are expected to enter Mumbai with BJP supporters for Friday's event, sources said.

"Out of fear of the Modi wave, parties with different ideologies are joining hands to contest elections", Shah said. Answering his question the Prime Minister said, "Yes, the situation has changed considerably. And even if you want to end the reservation, BJP will never allow it". I had heard a tale that when a devastating flood comes, all the trees, plants, leaves, etc flow away and then all animals including snake, mongoose, dog, cat, Cheetah, Lion jumps on a single banyan tree because they all are scared of the water below the tree.

On whether there would be alliance between the BJP and Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, Shah said, "We wish that the Shiv Sena is part of the NDA in the 2019 polls".

Sources said he also told the MPs that opposition members nearly surrounded him during his reply to the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address to Parliament, and such a disruption during a prime minister's speech was unprecedented.
