Reasons Why LeBron James Should Leave The Cleveland Cavaliers

Reasons Why LeBron James Should Leave The Cleveland Cavaliers

Now, the word of a single reporter isn't exactly the same as a direct quote from the horse's mouth, but Sheridan called James" return to Cleveland "48 hours before anyone else" back in 2014, and pretty much predicted James' famous "Decision' in 2010 to go to Miami - so the man's sources tend to be on point.

Through 40 appearances this season, Wall is averaging 19.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 9.5 assists in 34.3 minutes per game. The result? The Cavs closed the game on a 32-11 run to escape with a 119-115 win.

With the win, the Cavs move half a game ahead of the Sixers for the 3 seed in the East with three games remaining.

After watching the Wizards shoot 64 percent (27-of-42) from the field during the second and third quarters, the Cavaliers then appeared to see their chances of winning disappear as the Wizards outscored them 14-5 to start the fourth and took a 104-87 lead.

Otto Porter Jr. recorded 18 points and eight rebounds, Markieff Morris had 15 points, Mike Scott tallied 12 and Marcin Gortat had 10.

Love scored all 16 of his points in the first half as Cleveland held a 59-54 lead at the break.

Chris Sheridan, formerly of ESPN and the Associated Press and who now writers for NJ.com, explained in a story posted Thursday why James will leave Cleveland again in free agency this summer.

After sending The Center into a delirious frenzy with a venue-record 78 points in the first half, the Sixers found themselves fighting for their lives in crunch time.

Behind Wall, Beal and Porter - and helped by some disgusting shots by the Cavs - the Wizards went on an 11-0 run to take an 82-76 lead with three minutes left in the third quarter.

In addition to featuring a great match-up between two of the league's marquee players, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis, this is an important game for the Pelicans, who could still miss the playoffs with a slight stumble in the final week. Lue reasoned that Green in the lineup makes the team better. They have three games left (Dallas, at Atlanta, Milwaukee) while the Cavs face the Knicks in NY on Monday and then at home for their season finale two days later.

To maintain the third seed, Cleveland will have to win out. Should they get further than LeBron's current team, it just might give the "King" a stronger reason to join their cause and win another few titles before he retires. James missed the second free throw and Philly secured the rebound on the third free throw to avoid a collapse similar to the one against Golden State earlier in the season.
