LG confirms G7 ThinQ, launch event happening May 2

The 6GB RAM variant of the phone could end up being called the LG G7 ThinQ Plus, but we're only guessing, anything is possible. LG said that the ThinQ naming convention is created to reflect LG " s goal of "thinking in the customer's standpoint".

We'll have to wait and see exactly what AI features LG packs in to the G7 ThinQ, but it wouldn't be a surprise if AI CAM and QLens make it into the new device.

The LG G7 ThinQ, the actual name of LG upcoming smartphone will soon appear in five colors. The leaked official render above acquired by AndroidHeadlines pretty much confirm a taller and slimmer phone compared to the LG G6. In an announcement on its Korean blog, LG explains that this will be the first G series device to carry the ThinQ brand. It's presumed that the upcoming LG Android flagship phone will go on sale sometime in May. The image also reconfirms a notch which will be included on this smartphone with an edge-to-edge design. However, Aurora Black might be available by default in all regions. The smartphone will be announced in LG's home country South Korea in the following day, LG has officially confirmed. The model will have a dual rear camera setup and the position of cameras will be vertically aligned in place of horizontal. Apart from the volume rocker and power key, the handset also features an additional button.

In other LG G7 ThinQ news there's also been a new leak in the form of a render showing off the five colors you'll likely be able to buy the phone in. "We will show the convenience that we have not seen until now by concentrating the accumulated AI technology", Director of LG Electronics.

Supplied to Android Headlines by a "reliable source", the image shows Aurora Black, Platinum Grey, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matt), and Raspberry Rose colors.
