Instagram Will Reportedly Get These Five New Features for Stories and Posts

This feature will enable you to see the websites and apps that send us information when you use them, delete this information from your account, and turn off our ability to store it associated with your account going forward. There were reports that the service might add a video chat feature to the app and that's precisely what it has announced today.

We're introducing a new way for people to share from their favorite apps to both Facebook and Instagram Stories.

Starting with Spotify, you'll be able to quickly add what song, playlist, or album you're playing to your Facebook or Instagram Story. That's why in the coming weeks, the video chat functionality will be rolled out to Instagram.

Facebook revealed new Instagram features at the F8 developer conference. This can be initiated by tapping the video icon at the top corner of any Direct Message thread whether its with another individual or “a small group”. But users said they also want to engage in real-time video sessions in smaller, private groups.

Instagram says you will also be able to minimize the video chat and browse through Instagram while the chat is running.

"We are also expanding our policies to guard against bullying young public figures on our platform", Instagram wrote on its blog. Content will now organized into "topic channels", created to let users browse across their interests, instead of clumping recommended posts in a single view. More apps will be adding the sharing to Stories feature soon.

Facebook is also adding a Watch Party feature, which means you can watch and comment on videos in realtime with your friends. That let developers push stories about your in-app activity to Facebook's ticker and News Feed. This is the page that is personalized for every user to discover new people and accounts to follow. This would archive all your Stories, so you can see what you posted on which day of the month and view them back. "It's incredible how many of these tools are about bringing us together". Right now, you can share what you're listening to on Spotify to your Instagram story with just a few taps; you don't even need to connect your Instagram account to Spotify to make it work. I know you all love stickers!
