The New Ant-Man and the Wasp Trailer Flippin' Rules

The New Ant-Man and the Wasp Trailer Flippin' Rules

The film is released July 6 in the USA and August 3 in the UK. As it happens, the subatomic superhero has had his hands full in partnering with the Wasp, the fellow pint-sized vigilante played by Evangeline Lilly, who is Ant-Man's only hope at saving the world from evildoers.

We're sure you've seen Avengers: Infinity War by now. That mark beat the one set by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" for the highest opening weekend ever, the Associated Press reports.

While Avengers: Infinity War is off breaking box office records, fans won't have to wait too long for the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Nonetheless, Ant-Man and the Wasp, judging by this new trailer, feels very much like an intentional antidote for, or at least alternative to, the grimness of Infinity War's downbeat ending. Given that the first trailer was just a mere tease, it's nice to see that we have more details about the plot for the upcoming sequel.

Now Playing: Watch this: Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer takes battles to big and.

Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), daughter of original Ant-Man Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), is given the mantle of Wasp, a superhero who posses a similar suit as Ant-Man but with wings.

At the present moment, all eyes are on Avengers: Infinity War and if you haven't seen that yet, Ant-Man and The Wasp is going to have a unique place next to the Russos latest blockbuster.

Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a super hero and a father.

While Wasp is fluid and meticulous in combat, Ant-Man is still a bit rough around the edges and clunky. The film will also feature Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Douglas. In the trailer, which has been viewed more than 100,000 times, viewers catch up with Ant-Man and take a glimpse at the many perils he and the Wasp will have to take on together. There would be something, perhaps a post-credits scene, which ties it up with Infinity War.

The sequel arrives on July 6, 2018.
