The Raptors Will End LeBron's NBA Finals Streak

The Raptors Will End LeBron's NBA Finals Streak

The Cavaliers will now face the Raptors, whom they took two of three against during the regular season. The Raptors, top to bottom, are the better team.

The LeBron-led Cavs found ways to stop Oladipo and the Pacers in the winner-take-all encounter Sunday but whether they can do the same to the red-hot Raptors is the sixty-four dollar question that needs to be answered.

But they've been confident before heading into a playoff showdown with James and have come up short — twice.

"Me personally, I want to play him", Anunoby said.

"Toronto, here we come, baby; Toronto, here we come".

The Raptors have yet to advance past James and the Cavaliers, who have knocked Toronto out of the playoffs each of the past two seasons. A LeBron-led team has yet to lose a first-round series in his brilliant career.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Indiana Pacers in game 7 of their opening round NBA Eastern Conference playoff series.

The Raptors already ended their streak of 10 straight Game 1 losses when they opened up the first round with a win.

"They're coming off a series where they were banging and bumping for seven games", Raptors guard Kyle Lowry said.

"I think it is impossible for the supporting cast to be as bad in round two as they were in round one", Wright said on First Things First. Can we? I'm exhausted. James refused afterward to acknowledge that he had indeed been suffering from cramps - or even to use the word - admitting only that he had refused the team's suggestion to intake intravenous fluids during his locker-room visit. And if there was any suggestion James is worn out, the Raptors are fully expecting the 33-year-old to be at his best despite logging 41 minutes a game through the first round. It should be fun and stressful for Raps fans at the same time.

"You believe he's exhausted?" "He's on a mission".

"I don't think so". Make him work for his points.

"We have a great opportunity ahead of us to show how good of a team we've been", Lowry said.

The Raptors have had the same luck with Cleveland. "I don't believe it", Casey said Monday. We're still kind of forming ourselves.

Lowry and DeRozan started resting before their first-round series with the Wizards was even over. Sure, Washington is better than the East's typical No. 8 seed, and bench lynchpin Fred VanVleet was injured. "That's what we want, just being able to wear down our opponent and playing physical".

But it often seems LeBron can simply will his team to victory no matter the odds, like he did against Toronto in the regular season.

But he produced his third 40-point game of the series as Cleveland wrapped up the best-of-seven Eastern Conference series 4-3.

The post was a ideal example of why this Pacers team was so much fun to believe in all season. If the Cavs are playing from behind in this series the drama around LeBron will build.

Having squeaked by with a 105-101 win in Game 7 after a locker room scare with a minute left in the third quarter, James noted the ends justified the means. Korver got the nod along with James, Love, Smith and Thompson - the four holdovers from the three Finals teams. The move was as savvy as it was desperate, but it worked. TNT will carry the game in the US.

Back spasms sidelined Cavs guard George Hill for three games against IN, but he returned IN Game 7 and sparked Cleveland.

Love had started at center through the first six games of the First Round before Tristan Thompson dusted himself off for Game 7 - setting the tone with his energy and aggression early and finishing with 15 points and 10 boards in the victory, going 5-of-6 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the line, snagging half of his 10 boards off the offensive glass. Let's break this series down and take a peek at the series odds to see if we can make a few bucks on this semifinal matchup. George Hill finally plays tonight and he really gave us a big boost.

For the longest time, LeBron has been the Freddy Krueger of the Raptors and the entire country of Canada. Better offense. Better defense.
