Conway said she was unaware of any other payments similar to the one made in the Daniels matter, but acknowledged that she had less knowledge of any potential arrangements than former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

President Trump did not know about a $130,000 payoff to an adult film actress who claimed she'd had a sexual affair with him even as he paid tens of thousands of dollars to the NY attorney who made the payments, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Thursday.

Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney for President Donald Trump, did not rule out the possibility that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen might have made payments to other women beyond porn star Stormy Daniels.

Giuliani's revelation differed from what Mr. Trump had previously told reporters aboard Air Force One, which was that he was not aware of the payment and that he didn't know where Cohen had gotten the money. Conway said Trump meant to say he did not know about the payment at the time it was made.

Lack of knowledge and expertise hasn't stopped Giuliani from talking to the media, of course, following a disastrous interview last week in which Giuliani appeared to implicate the president in two potential federal crimes.

He called it "a nuisance payment" rather than "a settlement".

President Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani said Sunday that his client did not have to comply with a potential subpoena from special counsel Robert Mueller in the Russian Federation investigation. "They don't have a case on obstruction, which is why they're asking all these cockamamie questions about what do you feel, what do you think", Giuliani said.

"She gave an interview back in 2011; there was a blog post back in 2011", Stephanopoulos said.

Daniels and Baldwin's Trump then opened the NBC variety show with its catch phrase, "Live from NY ... I found this out many, many longtime afterwards long after I got into the White House", Conway said.

Cohen "made payments for the president, or he conducted business for the president", Giuliani said, "which means he had legal fees, monies laid out, and expenditures, which I have on my bills to my clients". "People don't go away for $130,000 with a meritorious claim". Certainly not, you know, the president's lawyer.

Then Giuliani admitted that it was "not uncommon" for Cohen to make hush payments on Trump's behalf.

Later, Stiller's Cohen calls Baldwin's Trump again, who asks him to get him on the phone with Stormy Daniels - this leads to the real Daniels appearing in the sketch.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, had told her story to multiple journalists over the years, including reporters from Slate and In Touch magazine, before signing the confidentiality agreement and a statement denying the affair. "That's not a decision to be made now, there's no reason to pardon anybody now".

"The mob takes the Fifth Amendment", Trump said. "They didn't cross my desk as campaign manager", she told CNN's "State of the Union".
