The annual benefit will see some of the fashion industry's most elite players come together to celebrate the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute's spring exhibition.

A lot goes into getting ready for what's arguably fashion's biggest, most prestigious and star-studded red carpet - the Met Gala! The network has had hosts on-site in previous years, but at the 2018 Met Gala, E! resident fashionista Giuliana Rancic, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Elaine Welterorth and fashion editor Zanna Roberts Rassi will offer their commentary remotely. Take a look back at her fiercest Met Gala looks below. This year's theme is "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination", which is a flawless opportunity to reimagine the decadence of religious iconography into wearable art. In the meantime, let's revisit Rihanna's best looks throughout the years. While the event won't be televised, viewers will be able to live stream the Met Gala red carpet on their smart devices.

Cindy Crawford opted for a pre-Met facial, using Meaningful Beauty products to undergo facial exercises to give her skin the best red carpet glow. He says it only took him "like 15 minutes" to prepare for the gala. The theme for that year was "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations". Rihanna killed it! The theme for 2015's Met Gala was "China: Through the Looking Glass" and Rihanna did the theme justice by wearing a design by Guo Pei. The "Stay" singer rocked an undo updo and understated makeup - letting her diamonds (including Jacob & Co. four-carat diamond studs and a 18k white-gold diamond choker and five rings) steal the show. Donning a black, beaded lace gown by Stella McCartney, Rihanna shimmered on the carpet and proved her sexy style was here to stay. The 2008 theme was "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy", which is a touch sophomoric, but hey, it was simpler times. Here she is pictured attending the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art Of The In-Between" themed event in New York City on May 1, 2017.
