Pickup truck collides with Southwest plane at Baltimore airport

Southwest has confirmed that none of the 172 passengers aboard the flight were hurt.

Southwest Flight 6263 was pulling into the gate at BWI Sunday evening after flying from Ft.

There were no injuries reported on the plane, WJLA said. An ambulance was at the scene, but according to passengers, no one was injured.

Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

Southwest Airlines continues to make headlines after a pickup truck slammed into one of its planes in Baltimore early Monday. Southwest's service to Orlando is the latest launch in a series of eight new cities, six of which were previously unserved nonstop by any airline at SJC.

A Southwest flight that left Nashville on Monday night ended up making an unscheduled landing in Dallas.

An engine exploded during a Southwest flight last month that killed a passenger, the first on a USA carrier since 2009.

The daily flight to Orlando is well-timed to depart SJC at 11:40 a.m., arriving to Florida at 7:45 p.m. Riordan was nearly sucked out of the window, but was saved by her co-passengers.

The jet, headed from NY to Dallas, made an emergency landing in Philadelphia.
