Laurel Or Yanny? 'I Hear Covfefe' Trump Jokes In White House Video

Do you hear "Yanny" or "Laurel"?

A new video surfaced Wednesday showing a clear creature which lights up and speaks, but what does it say?

On Tuesday internet was torn in two teams - Team Yanny and Team Laurel after a mysterious audio clip was doing rounds on social media.

So if you're hearing Laurel, you're likely picking up on the lower frequency. The confusing audio clip is playing around with frequency and the words the listener hears will depend on the range of frequency that the person picks up from the clip. The White House is far from the the first corner of Washington to weigh in on a topic that many have found earresistible.

The White House released a video Thursday joining in on the Laurel Vs. Yanny debate and offering a mix of responses.

"If the auditory signal is somewhere between the prototypical way of saying "laurel" and "yanny", then the brain may tend to force it towards one or the other, as it does with the phonemic restoration effect".

Vice President Mike Pence has no idea what is going on case you're listening, Robert Mueller.

'Clearly you're getting your information from CNN, because that's fake news, ' she jokes. "All I hear is Yanny".

"I hear covfeve", Trump says from his desk in the Oval Office, referencing the infamous typo published on his Twitter account past year.
