LeBron James owns Terry Rozier with vicious chase-down block

It would be something special for this group to be the ones that end the reign of king James, and it would be fitting if this franchise once again knocked James out of the playoffs and out of Cleveland.

James will make his eighth straight NBA Finals appearance.

"I thought Baynes gave them a physicality, protected the lane and protected the paint", Tyronn Lue said. One for every win by James the past five times his team has played a Game 7. Add in a 7-for-39 (18%) for the three-point line and you are not going to win a game seven. "It's something that you wish you had when you're done playing, but more than that, it's just basketball for me".

We've seen this type of impact play throughout the course of James' 15-year career, but they never fail to wow.

His numbers in elimination games are staggering and he not only lived up to them, he obliterated them.

Especially when you consider that Brad Stevens' Celtics squad has won all three games at Boston in this series, and they won all of those games by at least 13 points.

"I've been in the league for some years and ran across him on the other side and really hated his guts", said Hill, who was on in teams eliminated by James. "This (Boston) team was undefeated in the postseason at home, and for us to be able to do this, and for me to be able to lead these guys, it's a treat".

For James, a potential free agent, the victory postponed a decision about his future until next month.

The Cavaliers are expected to be underdogs against either. "We just didn't do it enough to get over that hump", C's guard Jaylen Brown said after the loss. The one thing we have to all understand is we're not going to play ideal. I'm the wrong guy to ask. But more importantly, me just being healthy.

Boston won its three games at home and the Cavs proved to be unbeatable in Cleveland.

It isn't the one they need.

LeBron James writhes in pain on the floor after suffering a suspected knee injury in the final quarter of the game.

This might be his weakest supporting cast.

How about Jeff Green with 14 points. (LeBron) played all 82 games in his 15th season. "We've got to come out ready to get our nose bloody and our mouth bloody". The Celtics get Game 7 at home. Boston went six minutes while mustering just one field goal - a Marcus Morris second-chance fadeaway - and the Cavaliers put together a little burst to pull within two with under three minutes to play in the half. He's not only done it all so that everything feels like it's been said about him, but he has done it all at such a superlative level that you run out of effective modifiers to describe his accomplishments. "We obviously have a good thing going".

However the current nonetheless belongs to James. "But it's probably too early to tell which team would be the clubhouse favorite to land him if and when he does leave Cleveland". When Rozier went up for the lay-in, James blocked it off the backboard and right to Green.

The Cavs didn't miss Love much, after he banged heads with Tatum in the first quarter and was ruled out for the night at halftime. A CliffsNotes version of the first quarter: Smith clanked a jumper off the side of the backboard, Love clunked heads with Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown (15 points) nearly outscored Cleveland by himself as Boston opened a 25-20 lead.

Celtics: Paul Pierce, whose quantity was retired by the Celtics this season, cheered the workforce on from courtside. Rapper 21 Savage was also at the game.
