Microsoft announces Halo Infinite at E3 2018

Microsoft (MSFT) showed its commitment to the video game business on Sunday by announcing the acquisition of five game studios to increase exclusive content for its Xbox One console. Like Forza Horizon 3, this new title will be playable on both Xbox One and Windows 10, but Fulton also said that Forza Horizon 4 will be available on Xbox Games Pass from release date.

The trailer did not show any gameplay.

The developer mentioned that the game is still a long way out, but it wanted to share the progress and showcase the new technology and art style. Spencer said Microsoft is building a "game streaming network to unlock console-quality gaming on any device". Beyond that, the company launched a new studio headed by Darrell Gallagher, who formerly headed the studio behind the relaunch of Tomb Raider.

Welcome to PCGamesN, your one stop source for all things PC gaming this E3. This is the first new Battletoads since Battletoads Arcade came out in 1994. Since that reveal, the studio head of 343 Industries' FPS projects, Chris Lee, confirmed that Halo Infinite will be a Master Chief story.

The four games studios Microsoft scooped up are Playground Games, the maker of "Forza"; Ninja Theory, the studio behind Hellblade; Compulsion Games, developer of the upcoming adventure game "We Happy Few"; and Seattle-based Undead Labs.

We got a chance to see our first look at the Division 2's new setting, Washington D.C., in the latest trailer for the game at Microsoft's E3 press conference.

"Our growth strategy is to continue to expand the worlds that players love, while developing all-new exclusive games that deepen their engagement with our platform".
