Djokovic and Cilic through in London

Djokovic and Cilic through in London

The 31-year-old needed only 65 minutes to crush world number five Dimitrov and he will next face France's Adrian Mannarino after recording the 799 win of his career.

If Djokovic is successful in his next match, the Serb will become only the 10th man in the Open era to join the 800-win club. But over the years, I have been forced to learn how to play on it, and winning Wimbledon several times just built that confidence of being on the grass, and I love it now.

Djokovic is competing at the ATP World Tour 500 series event for the first time since 2010 having reached the final back in 2008 when he lost to Rafael Nadal.

Marin Cilic claims he is "not obsessed" by winning Wimbledon despite outlining his credentials as a potential champion by sealing his second Queen's Club title on Sunday.

"I feel confident for Wimbledon, for sure".

Kyrgios saved the only break points of the match, recovering from 15-40 at 2-2 in the second set. In press conference, asked if he one of the favorites at the All England Club, Djokovic said: 'Let's not get too ahead of ourselves too early (smiling).

It was something of a return to form for the 12-time grand slam champion this week though, and he could easily have won in what was his 99th career final, but he missed that match point in the second set. "I was very determined to play my best, especially after a great performance in the first round and managed to deliver". "The last two years I enjoyed a lot so to come back top-50 is really good for me".

"It was a special win for me because previous year I had a match point and didn't convert it", Cilic said. "And definitely, it was an extremely tough match", Cilic said.

An embarrassing French Open quarter-final defeat against Italian journeyman Marco Cecchinato extended his wretched run in 2018.

"Nick is serving so good and it was tough to get a look on the service returns".

Despite soaring temperatures, neither player backed off in a tense deciding set, with Cilic finally earning the first break point opportunities in the eighth game.

Despite missing out on a set point at 5-4, last year's Wimbledon finalist was too strong in the first-set tiebreaker and went on to win nine points in a row to secure the second set and the match.
