For the launch offers, the Samsung Galaxy J8 is available with a cashback of Rs 2,000 on the purchases made via ICICI debit and credit cards.

Samsung has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy On6 in India to take on the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, which are ruling the mid-range market right now.

Using both a fingerprint reader and iris scanner makes sense since Android has allegedly updated its Android P OS with multiple biometric authentication support for apps.

Similar to the Galaxy J-series and the Galaxy A-series, the Galaxy On6 also comes with an Infinity Display. Samsung Galaxy On6 will also come with the option for Flipkart's complete mobile protection plan at a price of Rs 49 only. The Galaxy On6 has a taller display, which is 5.6-inches in size, though it sports an HD+ resolution which is 1440 x 720 pixels.

Some of the features on the devices include the infinity display screen which is normally found on Samsung flagship devices, facial recognition, and dual camera amongst others.

It's not about the features you see - it's about the ones you don't.

The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 7870 processor from Samsung. According to a Geekbench entry earlier this year, the Galaxy Tab S4 will also arrive with an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 340 graphics, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage. The colours to be offered are: Black, Grey, Violet/Purple, Blue and Brown. Previous devices used inductive styluses that didn't require an internal battery, basically using a form of wireless power. Galaxy On6 also comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. This dual-SIM smartphone comes loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI on top. Coming to the cameras, the Galaxy Tab S4 might sport 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and an 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
