Blizzard Has Multiple Diablo Projects in the Works

We believe that if you're looking for a tight-knit crew that celebrates self-expression and embraces collaboration, we might be a phenomenal fit for you.

"On behalf of the Diablo team, welcome back to Sanctuary for our newest season".

This is according to the associate community manager, Brand Camel.

It will be a while before we get to hear about these multiple Diablo games or projects that are in development but rumor has it that Blizzard Entertainment is bringing Diablo 3 to Nintendo Switch.

"Some of the are going to take longer than others", Camel admits, but then drops a tease for some sort of reveal or announcement taking place before the end of 2018.

We've known for over two years that Blizzard is making a new Diablo game, and it's likely a big mainline sequel. Descriptions such as that can apply to just about any Diablo project that Blizzard could conceivably be working on at the moment.

For instance, Blizzard noted at Blizzcon 2017 that it didn't have anything Diablo-related ready to show, but that there would be a time in the future when the studio would be ready to show something.

Stay tuned for more as Blizzard discloses more on the future of Diablo. So whether you first joined us in "D3" or you're a seasoned veteran, thank you. "None of this would be possible without the support that you have shown us for over 20 years", she added.

BlizzCon 2018 is scheduled for November 2 and 3, and the annual event is the ideal stage for an announcement on the scale of a new Diablo.
