Pogba on Utd exit rumours: It's not me talking

Asked about his relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho, Pogba replied: "We have a pure coach-player relationship, that's right".

But the 25-year-old would find the net again before the break.

United have won at Turf Moor in each of the last two seasons, goals from Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney doing the damage in April previous year and Martial's lone strike securing the points in January.

After losing to Brighton and Tottenham, United must avoid a third consecutive defeat against Burnley on Sunday.

But Mourinho admits he hasn't got the defenders to go all-out attack like City and Liverpool.

"And normally, even (by) the players, we are judged - if they play, the manager is good, if they don't play, the manager is not good".

It is the first time the club have lost two of their first three matches of a Premier League campaign since 1992-93, and the Spurs result was Mourinho's heaviest home loss in management. It has to be a team effort, as good as he is.

Pogba should have put United out of sight in the 70th but had his spot kick saved by Hart after Rashford, who looked lively after being introduced from the bench, was fouled.

However, on Thursday, he said: "It's not me who's talking, I'm trying to do my job and work on myself physically". They are what they are and we are what we are.

"He believes in me, that's the most important thing".

"We lost so many chances and Joe Hart made important saves".

United are still in the hunt for Leicester's England centre-half Harry Maguire.

The banner is a flashback to when United fans similarly paid for a plane to display a banner protesting against David Moyes' reign at the club in 2014. We are together, we are strong and I can't wait to start. It's not especially now.

Two defeats are two defeats.

"We're in August. There are a lot of points to play for and the real season starts after the worldwide break".

"Someone needs to lose to drop the points and it's still too early to say something".

Bardsley denied Sanchez at the other end and Shaw stung the palms of Hart, who prevented the visitors going three ahead in the 69th minute.
