Chicago Bears: The good, bad and ugly from Packers game

The former NASCAR and IndyCar driver sat up in box seats on Sunday night at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.

In a more analytical light, what better game could there be to open the regular season stock report? The way he takes the field during practice, the way he is in meetings. He rather obviously favored his knee and limped around.

In Sunday's season opener against the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers left the game with an apparent knee injury early in the second quarter. "It would have had to take something really catastrophic injury wise to keep me out of the second half".

He's the Packers' No. 3 quarterback, and Boyle wasn't just planning to wear the jersey around the locker room. I was in our facility trying to get it loosened up.

The quarterback initially tried to get up, then went back down, and was attended to by trainers.

It wasn't the Raiders' fault, according to Raiders coach Jon Gruden. He'd been holding out for a new deal and he signed a six-year, $141 million contract with the Bears that made him the league's highest-paid defensive player.

"I think it will be more on what he can do", Coach McCarthy said.

It ruins what was a stellar start for the Bears who were buoyed by a strong effort from newly acquired linebacker Khalil Mack, who had a sack, forced fumble and recovery along with an interception touchdown in his debut. What are the top three takeaways from the game? Even while giving due credit to Khalil Mack, who was a good as advertised in the first half, Kizer's performance was putrid.

Note: I'm a Packers fan and was ecstatic when the Bears opted to kick instead of go for it on fourth-and-2. There were problems stopping the run, mobile quarterbacks still seem to pick up first downs easily and the only turnover generated was in the game's final seconds.
