How to upgrade to the iPhone XS

In India, one would have to shell out Rs 12,075 a month as zero-cost EMI for a period of one year to own the 512GB variant of iPhone XS Max that will come for Rs 144,900 in India.

But most importantly the device takes on the futuristic all-screen design Apple first introduced with the iPhone X past year.

Quite on the contrary, as unnamed "sources from the Apple supply chain" seem to be backing up earlier predictions calling for a majority of new iPhone shipments to be accounted by the cheaper, colorful, LCD screen-sporting, single rear camera-featuring XR.

Subsequently, the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max managed to stay ahead in GFXBench 5.0 as well, where the phones achieved frames of 1,774.1 and 1,604.7 in the Aztec Ruins render scene. The device was launched as a replacement for the iPhone X that would offer the same design as the iPhone X but with better specs and a larger screen size.

Not even a week removed from Apple's special event, Ming-Chi Kuo is already out with a new investor note (via MacRumors) detailing how pre-orders for Apple's newly unveiled devices are stacking up. "But if you have an iPhone X, you don't need these new phones".

Apple Inc Chief Executive Tim Cook, whose products have been spared from new US tariffs imposed on Chinese goods, said on Tuesday he was optimistic that the United States and China will eventually work through their trade differences.

The iPhone X starts at ₹ 81,099 for the 64GB model rising to ₹ 93,999 for the 256GB.

The information comes from a certification body in China, which published documents confirming the exact specifications of the battery packs and which was found by MyDrivers. The iPhone XS Max is expected to start at an eye-watering ₹ 109,900 and is expected to go on sale on 28th September. The iPhone X and the iPhone 8 Plus had 3GB of RAM, and the iPhone 8 only had 2GB of RAM. It's the iPhone for people who prefer the look of the iPhone X - no bezels, with a small "notch" at the top - but don't want to drop the $1,000 asking price for the least expensive version of the iPhone XS. Maybe we'll see an iPhone X-style redesign at some point (I think it would have to be called iPhone XSE - a.k.a. "iPhone Tennessee" - as it most certainly could not be called iPhone SEX).
