In a recent interview, Tanushree Dutta spoke about the #MeToo movement in Bollywood highlighting her personal experience. Tanushree Dutta further alleged that while everyone is aware of Nana Patekar's behaviour with women on set, there is no one to report on it or take action.

Tanushree said that that during the filming of her 2008 film Horn Ok Please, she was pushed and intimidated by Nana on the sets. She was quoted as saying, "When I had complained about the same to the producer-director and told them to ask him (Nana Patekar) to stay away from me, they didn't pay heed".

While talking to News18, Ganesh Acharya remembered bits of the incident, which had taken place on the sets of movie Horn "Ok" Pleassss, and he refuted the claims Tanushree had made during her interview with Zoom TV that she was harassed by Nana Patekar. However, media personnel gathered their and the political party workers started attacking their auto, the actress said.

During an interview, Tanushree said, Nana's reputation of sexual misconduct is well known in the Hindi film industry, but little has been done about it. Even though starlet Sri Reddy had named some actors and film-makers from the Telugu film industry of sexually exploiting actresses like her, no Bollywood actress had yet come forward to name and shame anybody for similar offences. "She was informed before hand that the song is an item number, but once we began shooting she started to object to certain dance moves that involved the dancers and the lead actor Nana Patekar to touch her, which she was not comfortable with". Nana was apparently shooting a song after many years because of which he was "very excited". Nine people called me and said "hey, we are with you".

Ganesh also denied that goons had come on set and vandalised Tanushree's vehicle and harassed her family. #NanaPatekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya and a man (who I later found was the producer) were having a conversation, while 50-odd dancers sat waiting. "When I was called for rehearsal I was told that Nana ji was also there in the song".

Dutta said there is social stigma and character assassination that a person goes through when she talks or tries to talk about such incidents.

Aamir Khan, on the other hand, said it would not be right for him to comment but "whenever something like this does happens it is really a sad thing".
