The Mate 20 Pro has a high-resolution 6.4-inch OLED display. A few hours ahead of the unveiling, a teaser page for the smartphone went live on Amazon India. Smartphones support the new standard memory cards Nano Memory Card instead of the usual microSD - they size and shape is similar with cards nanoSIM and now produces only the Toshiba and only in the version 128 GB.

The Kirin 980 is at the helm of the Mate 20 Porsche Design. It turns out this is a huge 7.2-inch phone that wants to compete against the Galaxy Note 9 and the Nintendo Switch. On the software front, it runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 skin on top.

In this smartphone the makers have used their newest processor chipset Hisilicon Kirin 980 which is comparatively more powerful then Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. Huawei unveiled four new mobile devices earlier this week, all part of its new Mate 20 series.

The Huawei Mate 20 X will launch on October 26 and cost €900 for its only 6GB RAM and 128GB version.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro's Leica triple camera setup is like that of the Huawei P20 Pro.

The Mate 20 Pro also has a beast of a camera setup, consisting of three lenses (20MP for super wide shots, a 40MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto shooter). You will have understood: the Mate 20 Pro is a beast of power. It comes with water drop notched which means there is no space for 3D face scanning feature.

As predicted, the Mate 20 is priced at RM2,799 whereas the Mate 20 Pro is priced at RM3,599.

There will be two ways to charge the 4 200mAh battery on board the device, either through the new 40W Supercharge wall plug that will charge a phone to 70% in 30 minutes, or a 15W output wireless charger. It also supports a wireless quick charge and a handy new mode called Reverse Charge, which lets you charge another person's phone via your own. During its reveal, Huawei emphasized the device's gaming capabilities with its vapor cooling design. Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design houses a 4,200mAh battery.

Since Huawei launched the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro a flash poll has found that 42 per cent of handset users are considering switching over to Huawei.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes in just one memory variant of 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage with a price tag of Euro 1049 (about 440,000 Naira). Huawei's Mate 20 phones, meanwhile, have nearly entirely dropped the bottom chin.
