Ronaldo Becomes First Player To Hit 400 Goals in Europe

The Portugal superstar, 33, reached the tally as he scored in the against Genoa in the 1 - 1 on Saturday.

His departure came shortly after the Turin side signed five-time World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

Andreas Pereira has warned Juventus that Manchester United are "pumped up" for Tuesday's Champions League meeting following an improvement in their performances.

A communications mix-up saw Piatek leave Joao Cancelo's blocked shot for his keeper, but the loose ball fell at Ronaldo's feet and he tapped in to an empty net.

Krzysztof Piatek, who has been in fine form so far this season, almost earned the equaliser off a long-range shot in the 55th minute that fellow global teammate Wojciech Szczesny was able to keep out the bottom right corner.

At one stage, Ronaldo looked to be in danger of missing the game entirely after he was shown a red card in Juve's Champions League opener against Valencia for pulling Jeison Murillo's hair, but in the end he was only given a one-match ban.

However, it was not enough to lead Juventus to Champions League glory which they have been chasing from quite sometime now.

However, Daniel Bessa equalised with a header, from Christian Kouame's cross.

Napoli cut the gap on Juventus to four points with a third successive win in all competitions and a third clean sheet in a row after a 3-0 win at Udinese. There were further chances for Ronaldo, Miralem Pjanic and substitute Paulo Dybala but Juric's players stood firm to earn an unexpected point. Every match has to be won on the pitch in 90 minutes.
