Ariana Grande Tweeted & Deleted About 'Clinging' Pete Davidson's SNL Engagement Jokes

Perhaps their breakup isn't as amicable as fans thought.

Ariana Grande has had a pop at her ex Pete Davidson for taking the mickey out of their speedily brought about and short-lived engagement.

In response, Grande subtweeted Davidson, writing, "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh".

She's since deleted the tweet.

After the 24-year-old Saturday Night Live cast member joked about split in a promo for the upcoming episode of the show, the 25-year-old "God is a woman" singer took to Twitter send some shade to her ex.

Pete Davidson's latest joke about his failed engagement isn't doing him any favors with his former fiancée. Grande will embark on her "Sweetener World Tour" early next year.

"Hey, Maggie", Pete said, casually introducing himself to the singer-songwriter. Grande retweeted that tweet with a simple period, heavily suggesting that her previous tweets were about Davidson.

"When she is done with something she is done with it and Ariana is now focusing on her career and family", the pal told Radar, adding that her entire family is "relieved" that Davidson is dunzo!

The video features Davidson meeting Rogers for the first time and immediately asking if she wants to get married.
