Barbra Streisand opens up about stage fright during Carpool Karaoke

Late Late Show host James Corden was in a bind.

Babs asks Corden. It quickly cuts to the two singing the seminal show tune from Funny Girl, "Don't Rain On My Parade" - a role which won Streisand an Oscar in 1969. Streisand also sang her new song, "Don't Lie to Me", a single off her new anti-Trump album, "Walls".

Streisand also humble-bragged about her powerful tech friends. "If this is how I go out, I'll take it... died at the hands of Barbra Streisand".

She said she tells herself before each performance, "Let go and let God".

"Siri is saying my name wrong".

Despite her storied career, Streisand admitted that she struggles with performing after taking 27 years off due to stage fright.

The singer said Cook honored her request, and she gave Siri's pronunciation a thumbs up when Corden tested it live. The song includes lyrics directed at President Trump with lines like, "How do you win if we all lose? So what's a better way to change my name than by speaking to Apple?"

"I've been driving for a long time, but I haven't driven recently because my mind is twirling and sometimes - well, not anymore on the phone, but it used to be", she said.

"People still mispronounce my name, they say Stry-zand, Strisand in England", she complained.

Are you a fan of Barbra Streisand? "Streisand" with a soft S, like sand on the beach. And so what did I do?

"This is not what I need to hear right now", said Corden.
