Possible Endings to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match at Crown Jewel

As if that weren't enough, Hulk Hogan will serve as the host for the event, marking his first on-screen appearance for the company since 2015 when he was sacked and removed from the WWE Hall of Fame for making racially insensitive remarks.

Now that he's won the Universal title, he'll nearly certainly have WWE commitments to fulfill. I'm looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to WrestleMania - but yeah, we're moving forward at a rapid pace. John Cena and Daniel Bryan have been pulled from the lineup, and Hulk Hogan is now advertised and will reportedly host the show.

Hogan was sacked from WWE in July 2015 after using racist language multiple times in a leaked video, but has consistently apologised since.

WWE has announced that Triple H suffered a possible torn pectoral muscle at WWE Crown Jewel in the main event.

The event will take place inside the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Hogan, who wasn't seen again on the show, never used the words Saudi Arabia, instead saying "here" and at "the Crown Jewel".

You can understand WWE not wanting to make a big deal about Hogan's return to the company's programming because of his controversial past, but the way it was handled was another example of WWE trying to quietly sidestep controversy.

The first event; April's Greatest Royal Rumble, was heavily criticised for appearing to be little more than a propaganda exercise for Saudi Arabia and how apparently progressive things are now under the current leadership. Cena was replaced in the World Cup match by Bobby Lashley on Monday night's WWE Raw.

"There are a lot of plans in the works".
