Ariana Grande Addresses Ex-Boyfriends, Talks Self-Love On

But more about Pete and Ariana... what'd U think, Perezcious readers?? In the commercial for "Saturday Night Live", Davidson jokingly proposed to artist Maggie Roggers.

As Davidson joined Michael Che on Weekend Update to talk about the midterm elections, he weaved in a joke about having to return home.

"I know some of your are curious about the break-up, but the truth is, it is nobody's business, and sometimes things just don't work out, and that's okay". Wish I could say, "Thank you" to Malcolm, 'Cause he was an angel, " she sings in the first verse.

"For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh", Grande tweeted.

Pete and Mac Miller both received a name check in the song, with her thanking both the men for their time together. While some might think her latest banger is a diss track, Grande instead shows that she is mature beyond her years by thanking her past partners for everything they have taught her.

She had hinted on social media that she would be releasing new music, staring with this song and then a consequent album.

In his opening monologue, which featured a cameo by Candice Bergen and Drew Barrymore, Bergen referred to a drink she was having as a "Pete Davidson". Listen to "thank u, next" above, and check out some of the reactions from Twitter below. "Thank you, next / Thank you, next / Thank you, next / I'm so f-in' grateful for my ex".

The song goes on to explain what she learned from each one: "One taught me love/One taught me patience/And one taught me pain/Now I'm so incredible".
