The Toronto Raptors continued their impressive run this season with a 114-105 win over the Sacramento Kings. And Chandler didn't disappoint, hauling in nine rebounds.

Nearly three weeks ago, Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul got into each other's face following Brandon Ingram's temper tantrum about being called for a foul. Through the incredibly small sample size of one game, the results have been good, as Chandler made life hell for Karl-Anthony Towns in the team's 114-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

While the 36-year-old Chandler might not be the dominant defensive player he was in his prime, he could play regular minutes for coach Luke Walton while the Lakers attempt to find a winning groove in their first season with LeBron James.

Despite Bayless' comments, James has averaged more points this season (26.5 to 24.1), but is down on assists (7.8 to 8.9) and rebounds (7.9 to 8.3).

Center Tyson Chandler has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers after clearing waivers on a contract buyout with the Phoenix Suns, general manager Rob Pelinka announced Monday. He also revealed the joy of playing with James and believes he is one of the best closers the game has ever seen while referring to his time with Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki.

Lonzo Ball may not be on the floor for the Lakers on Saturday. "And get a dub".

Jones played with James in Miami, and followed him to the Cleveland Cavaliers late in his career.

"I've been on the other side and played the villain, " he added.

With Chandler's calm maturity and stalwart presence on defense off the bench-not to mention the fact that he'll likely back up James and change the dynamic at practice as a fellow veteran-his addition to the team certainly won't hurt in terms of veteran-rookie (or close to it) relations. "I just want to take pressure off him".

Thibodeau said Butler, who has requested a trade, is still trying to get in game shape.
