President Trump's answers to Robert Mueller inquiry are expected this week

MSNBC analyst Mimi Rocah, who served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of NY, joined MSNBC's Chris Hayes on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments in the special counsel's investigations into a conspiracy with Russian Federation by Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

Jerome Corsi, a far-right political commentator and longtime associate of Roger Stone, says he will be indicted for perjury as part of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation investigation.

"I fully anticipate that in the next few days, I will be indicted by Mueller", he said, as he made a pitch for donations to his legal defence fund.

In October, NBC News reported that Mueller's team had evidence indicating that Corsi knew in advance that the emails had been stolen from the Democrats and were to be published by WikiLeaks, the campaigning website.

Corsi worked with far-right conspiracy theorist and Washington bureau chief for Infowars, Alex Jones, and together they promoted the QAnon theory, according to which "Q" was a high-level government insider who was dropping hints regarding Trump's plan to expose a ring of pedophiles operating within the Democratic Party. Another topic that will be covered is a meeting between the president's son Donald Trump Jr., other members of Trump's campaign team and a group of Russians in June 2016 in Trump Tower, the source said.

Corsi's attorney declined to comment, and Corsi did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Stone has said that one of his most scrutinized comments - a tweet in August 2016 predicting that it would soon be the Podestas' "time in the barrel" - was based on Corsi's research about John Podesta and his brother.

During his Monday broadcast, Corsi said he and his attorney, David Gray, had been in talks with Mueller's team for the past two months. A spokesman for Farage told The Guardian that Corsi's comments about Mueller's alleged interest in the former UKIP leader were nothing but gossip.

"I'm going to be indicted", Corsi said on his show.

Corsi, who wrote the anti-President Obama book "The Obama Nation", said he is being targeted for political reasons. Both deny having any communication with Assange.

"We began a series of discussions with them that have gone on for two months", he said on YouTube.

Special counsel investigators have questioned Stone and Corsi to determine what connection if any they might have had with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Corsi said Mueller's prosecutors have pressed him repeatedly on any ties to Assange, whom he says he has never met.
