KC Star Kareem Hunt Caught on Camera Assaulting Woman In TMZ Video

The clip, which came from an OH hotel hallway camera, was published by TMZ on Friday afternoon.

It's unclear if the Chiefs and the National Football League knew about this video, but the National Football League did launch an investigation into the incident back in February. The team hasn't issued a statement about the matter, and it's not clear if Hunt will play on in the Chiefs' next game against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

The league then instituted a stronger domestic violence policy, but other incidents have made news, including last weekend when the San Francisco 49ers cut linebacker Reuben Foster.

As she is crouched down on the floor, the footage shows, Hunt comes over and kicks her. The woman claimed that she was kicked out of Hunt's hotel room after refusing to have sex with one of Hunt's friends. Hunt had been accused of physically assaulting a 19-year-old woman at a Cleveland hotel. Not only did the female call the cops on Hunt, but Hunt's friend also called police on her. According to TMZ, police responded to the scene, but no one was ever arrested and no charges were filed. While there have been reports that the woman in the incident screamed a racial epithet at Hunt and the video shows that she continued to approach him after his anger flared, those sources said they were disturbed by what they saw.

The Kansas City Chiefs are, at least for the moment, distancing themselves from Kareem Hunt.

According to that Cleveland newspaper report, a friend who was with Hunt said the two women stayed out in the hallway for about 30 minutes. His friends said the woman had gone insane and was kicked out for calling Hunt the n-word.

The video was published earlier Friday by TMZ. When asked to elaborate on the lessons he learned, he replied: "Just be in the right place at the right time".
