This Is Why Unai Emery Is Getting Success - Former Premier League Midfielder

Arsenal and Tottenham have been charged by the Football Association after a melee following Eric Dier's equaliser at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Both sets of players and benches were involved and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino sprinted down the touchline to play peacemaker.

Six arrests were made for a number of incidents, including a banana skin being thrown at Aubameyang after he scored the opening goal and celebrated in front of Spurs' travelling support. The flashpoints overshadowed a dazzling performance from the home team and Emery, who did not speak with Aubameyang after the game, made clear his distaste at the apparent targeting of his player. "We managed to win this game that was important for us as a team and for the fans". When you are young in this type of game always it is hard but I'm not going to focus on him - the team until 2-2 was good.

Aubameyang (centre) opened the scoring with a 10th-minute penalty (Nick Potts/PA).

Arsenal had their tails up now and Spurs switched formation with Dier dropping into defence to form a back five, but it didn't work.

The Emirates was full of noise now and Torreira wrapped up the win when he got through on goal and fired into the corner with 13 minutes left after Dier had needlessly slide in.

On came Alexandre Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey at the interval and the changes helped to turn the contest again.

'After the first goal we conceded, we had a moment when we were down, but at half-time we were still confident.

"We spoke in the dressing room and we were having good minutes in the game".

Arsenal entertain their fiercest rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon, with just three points separating the two.Arsenal now sit in 5th in the Premier League on 27 points and are now on an 18-match unbeaten run, with their last defeat coming on August 18th.
