Mika Uses Homophobic Slur To Describe Secretary Of State Pompeo

"I understand that Donald Trump doesn't care", Brzezinski said, during her televised reaction to Pompeo's earlier interview on Fox & Friends about the France terror attack, the murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi and other matters. Khashoggi was a foe of the crown prince's.

"She will probably be given a pass, despite their awful ratings". He also praised Grenell for questioning Brzezinski's apology. "I should have said "water boy"... like for football teams or something like that", Brzezinski tweeted in response.

MSNBC apparently tried and failed to censor the poorly thought-out quip by briefly silencing Brzezinski's words. He doesn't care. But why doesn't Mike Pompeo care right now? I'm dead serious, I'm asking.

Mika's slur was met with instant outrage on social media, with people of all kinds of political affiliation expressing disgust with the phrase.

Photographer G.E. Anderson posted the clip on Twitter shortly after, pointing out that the closed captioning omitted that part of Brzezinski's remarks. "Try "toadie" or "lackey" or "stool pigeon" or 'ass kisser, ' or 'traitor, ' but maybe don't equate homosexuality with Mike Pompeo carrying water for the murderous regime in Saudi Arabia".

Brzezinski apologized for the comment on Twitter saying that she didn't mean it as a homophobic slur. Twitter users lit up her account, pointing out that her insult was more akin to Trumpian strategy than anything else, though, thankfully, Brzezinski was quick to respond with an apology.

Donald Trump, Jr., called out the double standard of MSNBC's lack of response to date in contrast to the recent Oscar controversy, tweeting out: "This is disgusting!" The direct evidence, this is what I've said before, the direct evidence isn't yet available.

David Hogg would be calling for boycotts and firings.

"I genuinely do not believe I wrote those hateful things", Reid told her viewers, adding, "The person I am now is not the person I was then".

It's not the first time Brzezinski has been slammed by Trump.
