PlayStation Plus Free Games for January 2019 Announced

PlayStation Plus Free Games for January 2019 Announced

Ubisoft's Steep first launched in 2016, and has been continually updated with new content and live activities, including X Games integration.

Steep will be one of January's two free PS4 games, the other one being the 2017 co-op adventure game Portal Knights. For the games which previously supported on PlayStation Vita and PS3, now you will be able to find them only on PlayStation Plus subscription.

Next month's lineup will still include free PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games in addition to the PS4 titles, though Sony previously revealed plans to drop PS3/PS Vita offerings from the lineup early next year.

Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games - two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 - as part of the Games with Gold Program. You can also mine and build your own home, and you can architect your own island. You can explore alone or team up with up to three other friends in cooperative multiplayer.

Both games will be available for download starting 10 January 2019.

And for PS Vita subscribers (cross Buy with PS4), there's a free copy of Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion, an action role playing game. The second free game is Amplitude, a rhythm game. However, make sure you claim the booster pack quickly since it's only available until January 15. If you grew up with the original PlayStation, then this is definitely worth picking up. That's 100 Platinum, 100,000 Credits, the Quanta (a Corpus laser rifle), the Quanta Obsidian Skin, a 7-Day Affinity Booster, and a 7-Day Credit Booster.

We remind you that you are still in time to download the games that arrived on PlayStation Plus in December.
